This home had gone through a full exterior remodel. Fresh paint, updated shutters, clean landscaping - the whole thing. But it was missing one piece that every remodeled home needs: a proper gutter system. Without it, rainwater was running off the roof with nowhere to go, which can cause erosion, foundation issues, and a general mess right along the foundation line.

We went with slick black 5-inch gutters and matching downspouts across the entire roofline. The color choice wasn't an accident. Black gutters against that white painted brick with dark shutters ties the exterior together in a way that feels intentional and clean. It doesn't look like an afterthought - it looks like it was always part of the plan.

We also installed leaf guards along the top of the gutters. This is something we always recommend on homes with trees nearby. Leaves and debris are the number one reason gutters stop working. With leaf guards in place, water flows through and debris stays out. No more climbing up to clean them out every few months.

The downspouts were positioned to direct water away from the foundation and toward the landscaping border, which is exactly where you want it to go. The whole system works together - the gutters catch the water, the leaf guards keep the flow clear, and the downspouts move it away from the house. That's the goal on every install we do here in Fort Worth.

A remodel this thorough deserves a finish that holds up. Gutters that match the exterior and actually function correctly are the kind of detail that protects everything else that went into this home.
